lakeFS Enterprise v1.94.0

Changelog

🆕 What's new:

  • Auditing: support for Iceberg-based auditing on Azure

🐛 Bugs Fixed:

  • Iceberg REST Catalog: a single storage credential is now vended and shared across objects under a common prefix, reducing the number of credential requests
  • Iceberg REST Catalog: the catalog's endpoints are now advertised in the /v1/config response, simplifying client configuration
  • Iceberg REST Catalog: snapshots still referenced by a branch or tag can no longer be removed
  • Removal requests for referenced snapshots are now rejected instead of silently succeeding
  • Auth: an authorization service outage is now correctly distinguished from an access-denied response
  • Requests no longer receive a false "access denied" when the auth service itself is unavailable
  • Auth: Eliminate client-side race condition in AWS IAM token renewal.
  • Iceberg REST Catalog: Fixed a precision-loss bug where large integers in request bodies could be altered during JSON decoding
  • Delta export: exporting a vacuumed table no longer fails on files removed by VACUUM.
